Primary maternity services guideline response

AMA Queensland was invited to provide feedback to Queensland Health on its draft primary maternity services guidelines. Feedback was provided via tracked changes and comments made on the Word version of the draft guidelines. A summary document of this feedback was also provided to Queensland Health, with specific reference to the preferencing of non-medical maternity models, alongside general comments about the guidelines. AMA Queensland also highlighted potential issues for rural and regional patients under the proposed guideline.
