Acknowledgment of our Workforce Action Plan

Letter from Queensland Minister for Health and Ambulance Services Tim Nicholls, 18 August 2025

Health Minister Tim Nicholls responded to our letter dated 25 July 2025 in relation to the development of the AMA Queensland Workforce Working Group Action Plan.

Minister Nicholls acknowledged that:

He has read the Action Plan and Queensland Health is considering its recommendations as it works to develop the Crisafulli Government's draft Systemwide Health Workforce Plan, which is currently in progress.
Queensland Health looks forward to consulting with AMA Queensland on their plan throughout its development.

Opportunities for health professional bodies to engage and collaborate will be explored in late 2025.
