Our Department and legal partner, Tresscox Lawyers, continue to assist members with, but not limited to:
- Industrial disputes
- Payroll disputes
- Matters of bullying and harassment
- Formal grievances
- Medical board matters
- Matters involving the Ethical Standards Unit, Clinical Governance Unit and Workplace Investigations Unit
- Matters before the Health Quality and Complaints Commission, Crime and Misconduct Commission, and the Health Practitioners Tribunal
We are also heavily involved in protecting the legal and legislative interests of salaried doctors by working with the State Government on matters such as the Medical Officers Certified Agreement (MOCA) which governs the remuneration and working conditions for salaried doctors.
