AMA Queensland is a professional association for Queensland’s registered medical practitioners and medical students. AMA Queensland is dedicated to its membership and continually strives to provide members with the assistance they require.
Visiting Medical Officers represent a membership craft group that spans both the private and public sectors. At AMA Queensland, we understand different craft groups require differing levels of assistance and support, and as a result have introduced a new AMA Queensland staff position specifically dedicated to our Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) member issues and cases.
We attends to the full range of industrial relations, HR and related workplace and professional issues that affect our VMOs, either as:
-
Individuals
-
At a local hospital/facility level
-
As employers, employees, or independent contractors
-
On a statewide basis.
