AMA Queensland responds to political developments in the external medical and health environment and advocates on behalf of AMA Queensland members on a wide range of issues. Policy is integral to AMA Queensland's lobbying efforts with the Government and other external organisations.

AMA Queensland encourages its members to become involved in consultation processes and steer the direction of their professional organisation. It also provides policy advice and support to members with common enquiries ranging from privacy issues to medical indemnity matters.
